The Medicines Management and Optimisation team provide a full range of bespoke services for clients. We have many years’ experience in commissioning and providing medicines-related services across a range of NHS sectors, including CCGs, hospitals, community settings, local authorities, GP practices and care homes.
Our strategic services involve pharmacists and technicians supporting Area Prescribing Committees, such as Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull and environs APC (BSSE APC), Pan Mersey APC, and the Lancashire Medicines Management Group (LMMG). We provide insightful medicines and related data using our Aristotle® platform, and robust formulary reviews proven to withstand high-level challenge.
We are experts in horizon scanning, budget setting, rebates, patient group directions and medicines newsletters, supported by our unique Medicines Safety Assurance Tool (MSAT®) for GPs and CCGs, clinical system messaging and other at-scale products.
We specialise in digital-led management of high cost drugs, non-payment-by-results tariff and Blueteq® systems for several CCGs covering Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) regions. These strategic services deliver savings across groups of CCGs, practices or STP footprints.
